About Us

Who are we?

We are local Blaine, Minnesota neighbors and friends that want to advocate and encourage our leaders to make choices that are Better 4 Blaine!

Why did we create this group?

We are Blaine, MN residents and local neighbors that want to advocate for our community leadership to make choices that are “BETTER 4 BLAINE”!

Better 4 Blaine is committed to being a voice for our community, ensuring that all proposed developments align with the needs and desires of Blaine residents. Through collaboration, persistence, and a commitment to respectful advocacy, we will work towards fostering a sustainable and thriving Blaine for all.

Abby

Hi, there! My name is Abby. I am a busy mama with a family of boys! We have lived in Blaine for almost 15 years. We enjoy Blaine’s parks and trails and see a lot of development happening in our area. We want our City and County leadership to make smarter choices for Blaine. If you have questions, concerns or updates to share, please email me: abby@better4blaine.org

Jen and Tim

We are both small business owners here in Blaine. Jen grew up in neighboring Lino Lakes and spent many of her years enjoying Blaine while growing up which is what brought them back from Edina and to live in the beauty that much of Blaine is known for. Together we have been back to Blaine for the past 7 years with our two teen boys. We are also a special needs family. And being in the special-needs world, you navigate the world in a way where you leave the path brighter for the next family to come along. Tim and I carry that same kind of hopeful attitude towards being a part of the Better4Blaine group. We all recognize and see the struggles Blaine is enduring. But we want to shoulder this together and to make it a better place for all. Blaine is nearing its final stages of growth. And we want to make sure that growth is one that will benefit all of Blaine and not focus on micro sections of Blaine. We are too big and too great of a community to be outlined by geographic challenges that drive nagging traffic issues, and the many more issues we all experience daily in our great town. We look forward to helping others who want to see Blaine become a place that is amazing for all.
